The purpose of companionship care is to offer support , company and friendship to the elderly. Companions may help with certain needs and primary purpose is to spend time with the client. Family members may require the assistance of a companions to keep an eye on their aging parents, or to assist with moving about or just talking and keeping them company by reading or recalling past events of their life

Some of the services offered by companionship care include:
· Transportation
· Reading Quraan shareef and other islamic literature
· Discussing relevant issues
· Accompanying the client for a walk outside and or on a wheel chair
– Skype calls or Zoom
· Monitoring the home
· Assisting with clothing changing
· Ensuring medication is taken on time
