Supporting the elderly in our community

Our aim is to create a one-stop centre for seniors to attend to their needs with privacy and confidentiality. The most important need of our seniors is to enjoy companionship and be shown love, care and compassion.

“Your Lord has commanded that you worship none but Him and that you be kind to your parents. If one or both of them reach old age with you, do not say to them a word of disrespect, or scold them, but say a generous word to them.”
Quran 17:23–24

How we help

Care shaped around the person, not the other way around

Every family arrives with a different situation. Some need a companion for a few hours a week. Some need trained hands for bathing, medication and meals. Some simply need to know whether the family home is still a safe place for a parent to move around in.

We work with you to identify what is actually needed, and to keep your loved one independent for as long as possible.

Stay at Home Care

Housekeeping, meal preparation, personal care and hygiene, medication reminders, sleep-over attendant care and caregiver relief — delivered in your own home.

What guides us

‘Blessing (barakah) is with your elders/seniors.’ [This Hadith refers to] those among you who are [aged and] experienced and have been punctual on righteous deeds. Sit in their company and emulate their ways.’
Faydul Qadir, Hadith 3205
“He who does not respect our elders, and does not have mercy on our children, and does not acknowledge the rights of our scholars, is not of my Ummah.”
Sayyiduna ‘Ubadah ibn Samit (radiyallahu ‘anhu)

Help us build the centre

We require support for renovating the facility so that it is suitable for seniors and paraplegics. Section 18A certificate issued upon request.
